My name is Simon Long Krogh and I write Zapprog-metal using the alias "Brumdrøn". I was born in Kolding, Denmark on october 29^th 1981

I've recieved 5 years of keyboard training, 6 years of jazz-piano training and a year of drum training. When I was around 13 years old, I started listening to "hard rock" ie. Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Metallica and Aerosmith. I stayed in this place musically until I changed schools and met some cool people who, among other things, introduced me to Dream Theater. Since then I've been trying my best to broaden my musical horizons as much as possible by listening to everything from classical piano to Pantera and from Extreme to Herbie Hancock.

Some of my present idols are Dream Theater, Frank Zappa, Genesis, ELP, Rush, Symphony X, Angra, Chick Corea, Michel Camilo, Bill Evans, Rhapsody, Freak Kitchen, Pink Floyd, Type O Negative, Chopin, Ayreon, Iron Maiden, Duran Duran, Chicken Cook and many, many more.
